Loosely woven for a soft, airy feel. Panels of fabric (“lienzos”) are handwoven on traditional Mayan backstrap looms, each only as wide as the weaver’s hips. This larger throw is made up of three panels that are connected using a “ronda” stitch. Each throw takes four days to weave and handstitch together. Finished with twisted tassels. Due to its handcrafted nature, each throw varies slightly.
